Dr. Noble P. Cooper, Jr. has been practicing general dentistry in the Historic Waverly Community of Columbia for over thirty-five years.  His practice emphasizes family and cosmetic dentistry, while addressing the basic needs of the community.  Dr. Cooper has the unique distinction of being a third-generation, African-American dentist carrying on the family dentistry legacy paved by his father, Dr. Noble Cooper, Sr., and both paternal and maternal grandfathers, Dr. H.H. Cooper, Sr., and Dr. D.K. Jenkins, former practicing dentists in Columbia. 

The Cooper family has provided comprehensive dental care for the Midlands for over one hundred and fifteen years (Since 1910).  Dr. Cooper is humbly proud to follow in his father’s and grandfathers’ footsteps.

Dr. Cooper currently serves as a Director on the Board of Delta Dental of Missouri. He is also a member of the Delta Dental Board of South Carolina. He is an active member and has served in numerous capacities for the South Carolina Dental Association (President of the Central District, Chair of Peer Review for the Central District, and a Delegate to the SC House of Delegates), the American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. Recently, he served as an alternate delegate to the 2024 American Dental Association Annual House of Delegates. In 2012, he was inducted into the American College of Dentists, a prestigious organization that recognizes the upper two percent of dentists for high, ethical standards.
